Introduction

Northwest Energy Angels is a membership organization of private investors. We are unique in that we only fund entrepreneurs in clean technology or "cleantech". Founded in 2006, we were the first angel group in the U.S. with a cleantech focus.

The cleantech industry lies at the intersection of our desire to make successful angel investments, our personal values and the world we want to leave our children. NWEA members place a high value on sustainability, the ecosystems that support life on earth and social responsibility.

Northwest Energy Angels members are successful executives and entrepreneurs who provide investment capital, contacts and strategic advice to help young companies achieve market leadership. We are successful business leaders with extensive experience in cleantech, high-tech, finance and other industries and are passionate about fueling positive change in the U.S. economy.

Our group includes seasoned angel investors and venture capitalists, as well as new angels learning by participating in a cooperative and supportive environment. Northwest Energy Angels empowers members with the tools for successful angel investing through a powerful business network and by providing quality deal flow, cooperative due diligence and relevant, timely education.
